Inventory & Materials

Know what is on the shelf and what is on the van.

A company-scoped inventory system with a permanent QR identity for every location, an append-only stock ledger, job reservations, and warehouse fulfillment from pick to van.

How it works

Built like an accounting ledger, used like a tool crib.

Foundation

Catalog, suppliers, and locations.

Build the catalog, link supplier items, and lay out locations as a tree — warehouse, room, rack, bin, van.

  • Inventory catalog items and supplier links
  • Nested locations with breadcrumbs
  • Every location gets a permanent LOC code

QR locations

A label that never goes stale.

Each location carries a permanent code. The QR contains only that code — never quantities, job info, or homeowner data — so renaming or re-parenting a location never invalidates a printed label.

  • Print labels from any browser and any label printer
  • Scan to open the location
  • No printer-specific lock-in

The code holds only the permanent location ID — never quantities, job details, or homeowner information — so a printed label never goes stale.

Stock ledger

Every change is a movement.

Receive, adjust, transfer, reserve, and release all run as server-side transactions. Each carries an idempotency key, so a double tap or retry is recognized instead of counted twice.

  • Append-only inventory movements
  • Reservations against jobs so available stock stays honest
  • Access limited to your company, project managers, and scoped super-admin

Fulfillment

Pick, stage, and load the van.

Warehouse staff work a job’s pick list by scanning locations, stage the order, and load the van against the load list.

  • QR-guided picking
  • Staging by job
